How to .. ( Essay )
Sir James Matthew Barrie writes , " if you cannot teach me to fly , teach me to sing ."
This quote means that if you can't learn one thing there's always a possibility that you can learn something else . It also reminds me that staying positive with what you can't learn there's always something that you are better at and you can teach others . if i had t teach something to someone, i would teach them how to put on nail polish . i would show them how to file there nails , pick out a color that goes with there skin tone , and how to apply it on there nails .
The first thing to painting your nails you always have to wash your hands . Always wash your hands with soap and keep washing them for 20 seconds . Washing them for 20 seconds will get all the germ out of your hands and make it easier on you to paint your nails and they'll be really clean. Grab a small towel or a bounty paper to dry your hands .
The second thing you should do after drying your hands is pick out a color that you think would look best on your nails or something that goes with your skin tone is what i always go with . Sometimes picking out a color isn't always easy but you can always go with what your gonna wear in school or to work the next day and combine your nail polish color with your outfit .
The third thing you have to do is file your nails always before painting your nails so that they can loo even better ones you start applying the nail polish . Ones you finishing filing your nails you can start applying the color that you have picked out to each and everyone of your nails , let them dry for at least 3 to 5 minutes and then apply a seconding coding of your nail polish . Wait 3 to 5 minutes after the second coding so it can dry up . If you want to give your nails a shine you can always apply the clear coding to make your nail polish color on your nails stand out more and they even look better with the clear coding .
In conclusion after applying your nail polish let them dry or you can wet your hands just a little tho , it helps the drying of your nail polish dry faster . After about 10 minutes later your nails will look perfect and shiny with a beautiful color coding that can make your nails stand out in anything you wear and make a great combination with whatever you wear .

The Pursuit of Happyness
The movie was really emotional it made me think about a lot of things that homeless might go threw and how they actually became homeless . The movie is basically about a sales man who is trying to sell a bunch of Osteo national bone dentisty scanners which he had bought .
1. What happens in Chris Gardner's life to make him and his son become homeless?
Chris wasn't really selling or making enough money from all his Osteo national bone dentistry scanners
because they weren't really word much anymore and not many people would want to buy them and Chris had invested all his money into them which left his family broke.
2. Did the events appear to you to be the result of someone's fault , poor decisions , or just a sequence of events ? I believe that the result's that happened to Chris were his own fault but then again he figured a way to get out of his problems but he had to go threw a lot of downer type stages in his life .
3. What would be different for Chris in this same situation if he didn't have his son, Christopher , to care for ?
If Chris didn't have his son i think he would probably feel lonely but then he wouldnt have so much more
to stress about while trying to sell his scanners .
4. What would be different for Chris and his son in this same situation if they became homeless in Chicago ?
I doubt that it would've been any different if they were homeless in Chicago because they would go threw the same trouble to try to sell the scanners and find places to sleep at and for Chris to find work .
5. What appears to be the most difficult aspect for Chris and his son as they use emergency shelter ?
Chris had to keep going on time to the line to actually stay in a shelter place to keep his son safe . It was difficult for him because he had his inter work in mind and he wanted to sell his last scanner but needed a new part to just sell it .
6. What do you think keeps Chris going when he hits ' bottom' in the despair of his situation ?
I believe his son Christopher is in mind that's why he keeps going and him knowing himself that giving up won't really get him anywhere and him and his son would still be in the same bad situation .
7. What do you think would have happened to Chris and his son if he had not been the intern selected for the job? Chris would've probably kept going and looking for other jobs . He doesn't look like a man that would let anything stop him because he knew that he would make it some way or another .

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
1. When Gawain set out on his journey , what was his goal ? Did his goal change by the end of the quest ?
Gawain's goal was to find the green knight and to get his head chopped off just as the green night has requested . Gawain was going to find the Green knight to honor his commitment .
2. Gawain had to face his fear in the abyss. What were his fears ?
He feared dying and getting his head chopped off .
3. The Green Knight only nicked the back of Gawain's neck. What do you think would have happened to Gawain if he had not accepted the green girdle from the Green Knight's wife ?
I think that the Gawain would've never survived ones the Green Knight had nicked him in his neck thanks to the green girdle that the queens gave him he survived .
4.What does Gawain learn about himself and about life from his encounter with the Green Knight ?
Gawain learned that he had been a coward . The Green Knight let him keep the green girdle to remind him when that when he accomplish something he can look upon the girdle and it will humble him .
5. As a result of Gawain's journey , how does his community , the Brotherhood of the Round Table , Benefit? Gawain told the King and the King offered words of solace to his nephew and the members of the court offered him comfort and that they will wear bright green baldrics in honor of Gawain the Good and his journey .
A. The Call : The Call in the story is Gawain pursuing his quest to find the Green Knight and over come his fear of the Green Knight .
B. The Treshold : King Author gave Gawain permission to take his sword and try to cut the Green Knights neck , also King Author gave Gawain permission to go on his quest to find the Green Knight .
C. The Helper & The Mentor : The Green Knight was most likely Gawain's Mentor and Helper because he gave Gawain a Second Chance and he gave him a Lecture for Gawain never to feel to proud of anything he accomplishes because of his coward ways of not taking the sword correctly to his neck .
D. Challenges and Temptations : The challenge for Gawain was over coming his fears and going out for his quest to find the Green Knight . The Temptation in the story was when Gawain finally meet with the Green Knight and he was afraid to get his head chopped off .
E. The Abyss : The greatest challenge in the story when he decided to go and look for the green knight and even tho he was afraid and didn't let the sword slice him the first time he when for it the second time and stood up to the Green Knight .
F. The Transformation : In the story Gawain makes a transformation by being honorable and sticking to his word of always remembering that he wasn't as brave as he showed himself being and he told his whole town and the king about his journey and what truly happened to him .

The Atonement : As the new transformation in Gawain's journey the king offered words if solace to his nephew , and memebers of the court also offered comfort and agreed hat henceforth the lords and ladies of of the brotherhood of the round table would wear bright green baldrics in honor of Gawain the good and his great quest .
